Fiona McDonald makes dolls, puppets, paintings and sculpture. She takes inspiration from old children's books and illustrations. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and won several awards.
Fiona is also the author of eleven non-fiction books, mostly popular history and one children's novel.
These are the two latest in my series of knitted fashion dolls. Pinky and Melissa are inspired by the big eyed, long limbed Asian ball jointed dolls. My daughter told me they had to be as unlike knitted fete fodder as possible. What do you think?
