Fiona McDonald makes dolls, puppets, paintings and sculpture. She takes inspiration from old children's books and illustrations. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and won several awards.
Fiona is also the author of eleven non-fiction books, mostly popular history and one children's novel.

Ah well, the meerschaum pipe makes me think Sherlock Holmes, but I don't think he ever wore a bowler :-)
